CPAS Testing The Career Complex will have CPAS testing on April 12, 13, 16, and 17th.

Required: Pen Paper/notebook $15.00 lab fee A Positive Attitude A Strong Desire to Learn About Computers and Information Technology Preferred: Flash Drive (a.k.a. “thumb” drive or “jump” drive) Access to a computer at home with at least DSL High Speed Internet or greater. Procedures for Information Technology 1. Come in Quietly. Read board. Be ready to start class after roll check. Have all needed materials. 2. Sit in assigned seat. 3. Get out pencil/pen and notebook. 4. Begin assigned board work. 5. Do NOT interrupt the instructor when they are speaking! Raise your hand to ask a question, or one will be given a detention.. 6. Think before you speak. Ask yourself… “Is what I am about to say appropriate, necessary or helpful to others in this class?” Then raise your hand. 7. Class/shop/lab participation is a MUST at all times! One will be graded by how much input and participation they perform during the class period. No “goofing off”, wandering off to other classrooms, or surfing the net/playing games on the computer. THIS WILL AFFECT YOUR GRADE!! 8. Please do not gripe, complain, or whine. 9. Be courteous at all times. 10. Do not groom in class. 11. Do not eat in class except during break. 12. You may have a drink with a top in class that you may quietly drink. 13. Put all equipment, parts, etc. IN PROPER PLACE at the end of each class. 14. You will be dismissed for break and at the end of class by the teacher, not the bell. ***LAB FEE REMINDER*** Just a reminder for everyone to pay their $15 lab fee. I would like to have all lab fees paid by August 20th so we can go ahead and order materials we need for the upcoming year.
***T-SHIRT DESIGN*** We will be wearing T-shirts for Info Tech I and II this year. Info Tech I T-shirts will be red and Infor Tech II T-shirts will be black to celebrate our school colors.
The cost of the T-shirts will be $10.00, and I'll be placing orders soon. I would like for each class to spend some time on the computers designing a T-shirt and have a design ready by next Friday (August 20). I would like for the design to incorporate our Clinton Arrow logo in some way. I'll be giving more details oin class. We'll continue going over class proceedures tomorrow and will start the introduction into Information Technology. We'll be exploring careers over the next week and talk about shop and internet safety.
